Getting Youngsters Excited
WTTW11 concludes its seventh season of Arts Across Illinois with CenterStage, an exciting live one-hour entertainment special from the Grainger Studio, airing on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 8:00 pm. This program showcases a wide variety of talented musicians, dancers and storytellers from throughout the state of Illinois.
Singer-songwriter, blues pianist and harmonica master Corky Siegel of Chicago will host the broadcast.

Juan Dies, of the Sones De Mexico Ensemble, first met fabled Mexican bolero player
Gustavo Lopez at the Old Town School of Folk Music. He quickly befriended Lopez, famous in the 1950s and 60s, and helped revitalize his career.
