Just want to know what you need to do?

If you receive WTTW through an antenna or "rabbit ears" and you currently do not subscribe to cable or satellite, you have 3 options:

1. Purchase a converter box for each television set in your home that receives TV signals through an antenna.

2. Or, purchase a new television set with a built-in digital tuner.

3. Or, subscribe to cable or satellite that carries the channels you want to watch.

Since Wed. October 18. 2009. my reception of WTTW channels has broken up...reporting "no service". Have you changed anything? I watch mostly WTTW stations and have had no problems until now.

Help.!!!

The only pbs station I get w/o any problem is 20. All of their channels come in good. A few weeks ago, I started having a problem. I get the program for a few seconds. Then it goes away. I get intermittent reception. BTW, I'm in zip code 60466, also. I had a roof antenna installed before the Feburary date, so I cannot adjust my antenna

Same problem in 60561. signal was fine on all 11 channels until above 2-3 weeks before transition, then intermittent signal, then after transition no signal. purchase signal booster, got better, but still very intermittent. Seems to work better after 10-11PM? No problems with other channels. How can I donate when I can't see the pledge drives?

I've never had a problem with WTTW's signal in 25 years of living in 60466 -- until July 10th. (Have not had any signal problems at all with any channels since the initial transition.) Why should I give money to PBS if they let this happen and don't even have a message on their phone lines addressing it?

Friday evening July 10 - Everything was fine until now. Now TV does not receive any of the 11 channels. A channel search does not find them. I live in Hyde Park, 60637 zip code. What's up?

Haven't been able to receive WTTW or any station broadcasting from the Sears tower. NW Indiana location in wooded area. New antenna, tried with both converter box and new digital TV, spent hours aiming, scanning and double scanning with no result. Checked all wiring in house and bought amplifier - no result. This transition has been a nightmare. Conspiracy junkies might think that this was all an effort of cable companies to boost customer numbers.

After the June 12 transition, we received all four channel 11 stations. Then suddenly this week (July 5) they disappeared. A channel search does not locate them. Any suggestions?

I'm in 60626 - Rogers Park neighborhood, and get very poor or no reception at all since the changeover on June 12. I hope this is just temporary and not related to our location!

Valparaiso, IN. Lost WTTW Digital signals. Used to come in with no problem. For approx. 2 weeks. no signals, all other Chicago stations are fine. What's up, did you drop power output or go to a highly directional array or something>??

We live in Indiana, and although we have had some difficulty receiving WTTW reliably we have always been able to get it. Until the DTV transition. Now we cannot receive the signal at all, despite being Comcast customers and having the converter box! What is happening with your signal, WTTW???? This is our favorite station and we have been long time members. We cannot be members of WTTW if we cannot receive the signal; thus, we have suspended our membership until this problem is resolved.

I called the FCC Help Line on 6/14/09 and they said it was WTTW problem. According the the FCC Rep, WTTW isn't sending a signal. The Rep said to keep scanning till the signal becomes available. What's up with that??

I had the same experience. I have an HDTV and set-top, rabbit-ear, UHF/VHF antenna and am not able to receive WTTW in digital. I live in the 60611 area. I'm sure it is an issue of interference, but I am able to get other local stations. It's very unfortunate.

I have been rescanning for the last three days. I am not receiving local key channels including WTTW11; I am at zip code area 60656. I call for technical support and they were NO help at all. I would very much want this resolve. Is there any recommendations or other suggestions?

We are also unable to receive WTTW11 analog signal. Our zip code is 60067. In addition, we also rescanned the channels and played with our attennae. All the other channels are working just fine but no WTTW.

I should add that we always had a strong WTTW11 analog signal in Zip Code 60016.

While the transition to digital has been smooth for most programs, we do not receive wttw11 any more. I rescanned the channels in automatic mode but wttw11 did not appear.
