Does anyone remember this one? It was set in Medieval Europe, but was shot as a documentary... interviewing the medieval characters about the special laws they had to follow living as Jews in Europe at that time. There were many beautifully shot scenes of everyday life, as well as surreal scenes, such as large groups of people in elaborate mummer or carnival costumes posing in a tableau in the wind. I saw it in the late 80s/early 90s. Maybe I dreamt it, or maybe it was on image union.
