Just want to know what you need to do?

If you receive WTTW through an antenna or "rabbit ears" and you currently do not subscribe to cable or satellite, you have 3 options:

1. Purchase a converter box for each television set in your home that receives TV signals through an antenna.

2. Or, purchase a new television set with a built-in digital tuner.

3. Or, subscribe to cable or satellite that carries the channels you want to watch.

We have to have closed caption on whenever we watch WTTW. Audio constantly cuts out making understanding anything impossible. Happens locally and nationally. It happens on all our TVs and does NOT happen on any other network.
We do donate and are about to stop the monthly payments - why should we fund WTTW when we can't even understand their audio transmission?

I've been experiencing reception issues (shaky transmission, sporadic sound, half screen visibility) for a number of weeks. I'm in 60643. What's the issue?

Thank you Dave! We just watched the second episode of DA and it was hard with the audio not synced. Looks like we might have to start a champaign! Come on WTTW, get worth Dish and figure this out!

Starting in mid-December 2013 until present (Jan 1 2014), the WTTW audio and video are out of synch on our TV. We receive the WTTW signal through DISH network in Wadsworth Illinois. We have reset our equipment as recommended in the WTTW FAQ but this did not help. We have contacted DISH and they have known about this problem since Dec 5 2013 but cannot say whether the solution is the responsibility of DISH or WTTW and their engineers have no fix presently. No other channel has this problem. I assume that the cause falls somewhere between DISH and WTTW but the ball has been dropped. Please fix this problem fast. Dowton Abbey starts Soon!!! It is very annoying. I could not sit through 1h of this.
