Ken Burns is back with a new miniseries about prohibition that tells the story of the rise, rule, and fall of the 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and the entire era it encompassed. Beyond the oft-told tales of gangsters, rum runners, flappers, and speakeasies, epic filmmakers Ken Burns and Lynn Novick tell the true story of America’s “Great Experiment.”
Ken and Lynn will be visiting to give us a preview and discuss and answer questions about the film. Don’t miss this special opportunity. Tickets will go on sale on September 1 and will sell out quickly so mark your calendars!
PROHIBITION is a three-part, five-and-a-half-hour documentary film series directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick.
