Engineering Maintenance, Engineer in Charge
Director of Engineering
Normal duties include supervising the Engineering Maintenance Department (including assigning and prioritizing daily work and long term projects), installation and repair of all broadcast equipment, work with Engineering Management on design of broadcast and production systems, work with IT Department to insure proper business/technical LAN integration, evaluate need for and recommend equipment for capital purchases and work with management to create engineering workflows and maintenance schedules.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Technology, Electronics, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of equipment used in digital television production. Ten years television/video industry experience with five years being in a supervisor/management position. Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
