WFMT General Sales Manager
5+ years related experience, preferably in broadcast traffic.
Schedule & execute WFMT broadcast orders and invoice for all radio sales.
Working familiarity with Deltaflex radio traffic software is highly desired. Additional knowledge of Marketron software a plus. Public Radio experience helpful; must work around WFMT Membership Pledge drives. Familiarity with classical music a plus. The ability to multi-task is critical. Must also be detailed orientated and deadline conscious.
Input, schedule, print and distribute sales orders. Coordinate with Copywriter, Continuity Manager and other departments.
Assemble and edit daily logs -- based on monthly music programming listings -- for the most advantageous placement of commercial and promotional units.
Create Weekly Sales Reports for Account Executives.
Create Monthly Sales Reports for Sales and Accounting Departments.
Create Monthly Receivable-Aging reports.
Create Client Invoices.
Input WFMT time sales income daily & send resulting reports to accounting.
Resolve invoicing issues with account executives, such as slow payment and insufficient credit references.
Keep previous year’s paper trail filed in office for use of Account Executives.
