Lined with green spaces and numerous soccer fields is Sacramento Boulevard.

Sacramento is home to Chicago’s Center for Green Technology. The center is the first rehabilitated municipal building in the nation to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum rating by the U.S. Green Building Council. The building, dedicated by Mayor Richard M. Daley in 2002, has become a national model for sustainable technology and design. The center provides many of the most comprehensive green educational resources for businesses and individuals in the Midwest.
