| You
can become "fit for life" by looking
out for things that you do well and make you feel
good. First, you need to figure out what your strengths
are. Keep your eyes open for opportunities that fit your talents. You can learn
more about what you’re good at everyday. At school, on a field trip, or
even as you read a book, you may find something you like to do.
If you are good with animals, then maybe you could be a veterinarian one day.
Maybe you like to write or work on computers. You might want to become a journalist
of a computer programmer.
Do you like to work alone, or do you work best as a team? Some people work better
by themselves, others feel more comfortable working with a group of people. Maybe
you like to be outside all day, others prefer to be inside. A construction worker
might work outdoors, but a secretary usually stays indoors. Do you like to help
others? If you do then maybe you would like to be a teacher, doctor, or a nurse.
Once you find out what you love to do, look for ways to explore that passion.
There are lots of ways to do what you love. You can be successful when you know
your strengths, and you learn to overcome challenges.
It’s important to know what you like and what you don’t like. If
you know what you like then you can end up doing what you love.
