Get ready for art that moves! WTTW11 is dancing with the stars...of Illinois.  From the Peoria Ballet to the modern musings of Champaign-Urbana's Cynthia Oliver, you'll be dazzled by dance on Arts Across Illinois, hosted by Phil Ponce and made by possible by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.

HAIL TO THE CHIEF

ALL THAT JAZZ – Billy Siegenfeld, artistic director of Chicago's Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, loves to dance and sing. Since 1990 he's fused the two in his innovative approach to dance, creating powerful bursts of rhythmic energy on the dance floor.

Known as America's prima ballerina she served as artistic director of the Lyric Opera Ballet and founder of the Chicago City Ballet. Now 82, she's still on her toes, as artistic advisor to the Chicago Festival Ballet.
