Join WTTW Kids, Fred Rogers Productions, and PNC Grow Up Great for "Be My Neighbor Day,” a free family event that celebrates what it means to be a caring neighbor. Enjoy hands-on activities, free educational resources, visit with community helpers, and meet Daniel Tiger and Donkey Hodie!
Check out the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure, watch a cooking demo, explore nature, add to a mural, build a community fort, and meet your neighborhood bugs! Win prizes, play interactive bingo, craft an instrument, learn to shadow box, participate in WTTW Kids Learn & Play programming, and more! Directly support neighbors in need by bringing a donation and create a card to share.
- 11:00 am: Chicago Children’s Theatre Red Kite Friendship Tour *sensory friendly
- 11:30 am: Ballet Lesson with Ballet Chicago
- 12:00 pm: WTTW Kids Learn & Play
- 12:30 pm: 40+ Double Dutch Club performance
- 1:00 pm: Double Dutch lessons for all ages
- Chicago Fire 30-minute soccer clinics running 10:30-1:30 pm
This event is free with a suggested baby supply donation to support Ascension Foundation and Ascension Health: formula, diapers, wipes.
