Please join WTTW and Old St. Patrick’s Church for a sneak peek of Chicago Stories: Home of the Irish, one of four new CHICAGO STORIES that will premiere this fall on all WTTW platforms. Chicago Stories: Home of the Irish explores the rich and colorful history of the Irish in Chicago through its connection to Old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

The event will feature a conversation with Eddie Griffin, producer and writer of Home of the Irish, and Father Pat McGrath, priest and the 18th pastor of Chicago’s Old St. Patrick's Church.

Home of the Irish offers an opportunity to learn how Irish immigrants helped transform Chicago from a frontier town into an industrial giant − influencing labor unions, the Catholic Church, and city government, where they built a powerful political coalition like none other.

Free parking is available at 625 W. Adams, diagonally across the street from Old St. Pat’s Church.
