When I heard that John Koch made hats and gloves by hand, I didn't really understand why that would be so interesting. Until I saw them. From simple elegance to goofy creations, John is an artist whose wares are not really intended to keep your hands and head warm. They will, however, make you the center of attention at a party, or a gallery opening. And it was all inspired by John's grandmother, and old movies.
