On Saturday, September 26, join WTTW, Lincoln Park Zoo, and Chicago Public Library for a day of family fun celebrating science, nature, and STEM. Be among the first to see Sesame Street and the Great Elephant Adventure at a special advance preview before the broadcast premiere on WTTW on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:00 pm.

This first-ever Sesame Street and Nature crossover special follows Elmo, Abby and Nina on a once-in-a-lifetime African safari adventure. After adopting an orphaned elephant online, they travel to a Kenyan sanctuary to meet the young elephant and the keepers who care for her, before venturing into the unpredictable African bush and coming face to face with some of nature’s most iconic wildlife.

Screening 3: 3:00 pm

After each screening, families can enjoy hands-on learning activities with the zoo and explore Chicago Public Library's Science Connections, featuring books and activities that inspire curiosity about science and nature. Families are also invited to enjoy Lincoln Park Zoo’s Fall Fest celebration happening throughout the zoo. 

Admission is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
