The Performers for the 2025 National Memorial Day Concert

The National Memorial Day Concert airs on Sunday, May 25 at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm on WTTW.
The National Memorial Day Concert returns to PBS on Sunday, May 25 for its 36th year. The annual tradition, which takes place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, honors generations of service men and women, military families, and those who died in service. The concert weaves together personal stories, tributes, and musical performances.
Actors Esai Morales and Gary Sinise will host this year. Jack Everly of the Indianapolis and Baltimore Symphony Orchestras, Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra (Ottawa), will once again conduct the National Symphony Orchestra. The concert also features the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, the U.S. Army Chorus, the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters, the U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants, and the Soldiers’ Chorus of the United States Army Field Band. Actors and musicians contribute artistic performances, too. See the list of performers below.

Gretchen Mol
Actress Gretchen Mol is an actress known for her role as Gillian Darmody in the HBO show Boardwalk Empire. Mol has also appeared in films such as Manchester by the Sea and 3:10 to Yuma.
Blair Underwood
Blair Underwood is a Tony Award-nominated and actor known for his roles in L.A. Law, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and Impeachment: American Crime Story. Recently, he appeared in the 2024 horror film, Longlegs.
Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack is a television, film, and stage actress who has appeared in shows such as Murder One, The West Wing, The Newsroom, House of Lies, and much more.
Loren Allred
Loren Allred is known as the voice behind “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman soundtrack and gave a notable performance of the song on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022.
Scotty Hasting
Hasting is a former Army Infantryman with the 1st Infantry Division 4th Squadron 4th Cavalry and a Purple Heart recipient. He is an emerging country music singer-songwriter, and says he uses music as a tool to cope with PTSD. He has advocated for veterans' mental health.
Angel Blue
Angel Blue is a Grammy Award-winning soprano who has performed in opera houses all over the world. She has played the title roles in Aida and Tosca, Violetta in La Traviata, Bess in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, Mimí in La Bohéme, and more.
