A First Look at the Upcoming 'The Forsytes'

More than a year after a new adaptation of John Galsworthy's The Forsyte Saga was announced, we have a first look at some of the costumes and characters in the upcoming first season of the Masterpiece series. While we do not yet have an exact airdate, the show will come to WTTW and PBS in 2026.

The Nobel Prize-winning Galsworthy's series of books follows the fortunes of the moneyed Forsyte family in 1880s London. Among them are the brothers Jolyon and Jack Forsyte; Jolyon's son, Jo, and his wife, Frances; and Jack's son Soames.
