Van der Valk is called to a castle where a magic ritual is taking place—along with a murder. With the most obvious suspect committed to psychiatric observation, who is responsible?

As the detectives dig further into the death of Precious Falade, they start to discover that everyone's relationships to each other are not what they seem. They also learn that there might be another death connected to Precious. 

Professor T's therapist invites his mother to a joint session with the professor. Meanwhile, he observes the trial of a case from before his consultancy with the police, confident that the accused murderer is innocent. 

Lucienne and the team are surprised to learn about connections between Dahlman and the now-dead Jan. What is the connection to a case Jan worked twenty years ago? 

The appearance of the police to question Karol about the death of Precious Falade could not come at a worse time. The investigation is disrupting everyone's lives, while the personal lives of Sunny and Jess are disrupting the investigation. 

Professor T is trying to act more positively towards the women in his life, on the suggestion of his therapist. He's also beginning to try to win Christina back, as he solves the murder of a baker. 

Alice & Jack stars Domhnall Gleeson and Andrea Riseborough as the titular characters as they navigate a romance over years and the complexities of life. 

A museum curator is murdered, possibly by an antique sword, but that's not what interest Van der Valk about the case. It's that the victim was an important witness in a case that has haunted Van der Valk for twenty years.

The detectives learn more about Ebele and her daughter Precious' pasts as they try to figure out who killed Precious. They also find connections to the onetime social worker Karol and the infamous Tory politician Tony.

Professor T begins to work through his fears of the past and of intimacy with his therapist, while simultaneously helping solve a case in which all four members of a family are found dead by different means, with no sign of a struggle. 

Helena Bonham Carter stars as Noele Gordon in an upcoming miniseries, playing a real-life actress who became famous for her role on a British soap opera before suddenly being fired from it. 

Citra and Eddie are proving to helpful members of Van der Valk's team as they try to figure out how killed Caspar Yuliani and where his girlfriend Marian Segers has disappeared to—if Van der Valk can only trust them. 

The dislike of Jess and Sunny towards each other makes working together difficult as they identify their victim and her relations. Troubles at home for both of them don't help their moods. 

We have some first look photos from an upcoming adaptation of The Marlow Murder Club, based on the novel by Robert Thorogood, the creator of Death in Paradise. The mystery will eventually come to WTTW and PBS.
