Baptiste searches out Edward and the money and concocts a plan with Genevieve to try to turn Constantin to inform on the Romanian gang, while Edward tries to protect his ex-wife.

The Nazis occupy Paris, putting Albert in danger, while Webster sneaks prisoners of war out of France. Harry receives a new assignment. And the Nazis finally catch up to the Rosslers. 

Martha's life begins to crumble as Genevieve steps into the investigation into Constantin, while Baptiste continues to search for the money and Edward is pressured from all sides, leading him to make a drastic decision.

Harry, Gregor, and Tom all end up at Dunkirk as they try to flee the advance of the German army into France,  while Douglas struggles with his PTSD back home in England. 

As Baptiste learns the truth about Edward, his family is put in danger. Europol becomes involved as Baptiste works more closely with the Amsterdam police, including Martha and Niels. And more is revealed about Natalie. 

Kasia is driven to ever more drastic actions by her experience of cruelty in occupied Warsaw, while Harry's leadership is tested as his unit engages in combat in Belgium and Douglas struggles to help his children back in England. 

Baptiste begins to learn how little he knows about Edward Stratton, the man he was helping search for Natalie Rose. The investigation widens to include a Romanian gang.

The retired French detective Julien Baptiste is asked to help search for a missing girl while staying with his daughter in Amsterdam. The case embroils him in the work of a dangerous Romanian gang and leads through Amsterdam's red-light district.

Lois tries to determine her future after Harry returns to England with a Polish boy in tow, while Harry's prospects become more uncertain. Kasia fights to survive through enormous loss in Warsaw, and Nancy tries to get information through German censorship.

A British translator falls in love with a Polish waitress in Warsaw despite a girlfriend back home, while World War II looms. The waitress's father and brother go to defend Danzig, and an American journalist warns that Germany is about to invade Poland.

In the finale of Sanditon, everything nears a happy ending as the midsummer ball approaches and Tom's plans for the town begin to bear fruit. Charlotte and Sidney try to figure out where they stand in their relationship, as do Esther and Lord Babington. 

Sidney finds himself confused in what he wants by the return of an old acquaintance as Sanditon's regatta takes place. An unexpected turn of events drastically alters the relationships between Esther, Edward, and Clara. 

Sidney and Charlotte are once again thrown together as they both try to rescue Georgiana after her disappearance. The experience leads Sidney to re-evaluate his approach to life. Meanwhile, Edward and Clara vie for Lady Denham's estate. 

An annual cricket match provides an opportunity for Lady Denham to help on a marriage between her neice Esther and Lord Babington and also an ideal distraction for Georgiana. As the gentry play against the workers, the workers grumble about missed payments.
