Miss Scarlet

Filming has begun on the seventh season of the Victorian detective series Miss Scarlet, which Masterpiece has announced will be its last. 

Eliza and Alexander are tasked with a discreet case involving a government minister, which could be the last investigation they work on together.

As Alexander prepares to transfer Dylan Cooper to prison, things keep going wrong, leaving him and Willows to prevent an escape on a troublesome, dangerous night. 

Alexander and Phelps fight over a case when it enters their separate jurisdictions, with Alexander suspecting corruption on Phelps' part since his criminal uncle may be involved.

While Eliza is away, Moses returns to London on a job from Patrick Nash, who has him work with Clarence to sell a huge diamond.

Eliza and Alexander both investigate the disappearance of a prize racehorse in the aftermath of an acrimonious divorce between well-connected aristocrats. 

Eliza and Alexander have begun a romance that Eliza wants to keep secret, but she's having a difficult time, especially since she needs work coming from Scotland Yard. 

Season 6 of Miss Scarlet will be available to stream starting in December, and air via broadcast in January. 

Eliza Scarlet and Detective Inspector Blake are returning for more mysteries along with old and new characters in a sixth season of Miss Scarlet.

As Ivy's wedding approaches – and Mr. Potts' accompanying move in with Eliza and Ivy – Eliza becomes embroiled in a dangerous case involving the Fitzroys.

Phelps and Eliza both undertake independent investigations when a popular composer is killed after the final performance of his most recent work.

Nash is released from prison early but has to find work and no longer has a detective license. He and Eliza end up working together, despite her objections.

Ivy is utterly devoted to her new job at Scotland Yard, leaving Eliza and Mr. Potts to fend for themselves at home as Eliza looks into a serial killer. 

Eliza is still trying to get on Alexander Blake's good side, and finds more chances when a member of the Guild of Private Detectives is found dead.

With William staying in New York permanently, Eliza tries to impress his replacement so she can continue working with the police. But Alexander Blake refuses to hire private detectives.
