The fifth season of Miss Scarlet – the show formerly known as Miss Scarlet and the Duke – will be available for WTTW Passport members to stream via the PBS app or at wttw.com/video a month before its premiere on WTTW. The fifth season will air on WTTW beginning January 12, 2025, immediately before the fifth season of All Creatures Great and Small. But WTTW Passport members get an early holiday present and can stream the whole season beginning December 8, 2024.

William Wellington, aka "The Duke," will no longer appear on the show (hence the dropping of "and the Duke" from the series title), but there's a new detective inspector around to bother – and perhaps enjoy the company of – Eliza Scarlet. You can catch a glimpse of Alexander Blake with Eliza in an image from the new season below, as well as one of her with the returning character Nash. Plus, watch a video introduction to Tom Durant Pritchard, the actor who plays Alexander, courtesy of Miss Scarlet herself, Kate Phillips. You can catch a glimpse behind-the-scenes of the filming of the fifth season and the set in the video, too!
