Late last year it was announced that the British series The Gold was coming to WTTW and PBS via Masterpiece, and now we have a trailer and premiere date. The Gold, about a 1983 robbery that was the biggest in the world at the time, will premiere on WTTW and PBS on October 5.
Starring a number of actors familiar to Masterpiece viewers, the series is written by Guilt creator Neil Forsyth. A second season just premiered in the UK, and will also eventually be coming to PBS audiences.
